The National Polytechnic Institute Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) is a national public institution for higher education, research and production. Located on the outskirts of the city of Yamoussoukro, its campus spans over 1,000 hectares, 146 of which are occupied by three built sites. Today, the INP-HB envisages increasing its capacity from 3,000 to 12,000 students by 2050. This includes renovating an aging building complex, but also improving access to the campus and mobility between sites, without compromising the energy and
environmental transition objectives of the establishment.

The realization of a Strategic Master Plan (Schéma Directeur Immobilier – SDI – in French) is a prerequisite for any development project. This document must anticipate the urbanization of the site and the increase in the number of students until 2050. Integrated into the campus strategic orientation plan, the SDI also aims to strengthen links between the university complex and its territory, notably through the pooling of its services with those of the Yamoussoukro Science Park (Technopole) and the Centre for Technology Transfer (CITT)1. The objective is to develop an academic and research excellence hub.

The INP-HB mobilized CoM SSA facility to develop its Strategic Master Plan and strengthen its sustainable development capabilities.
