CoM SSA Family to gather in Abidjan

The Covenant of Mayors for Sub-Saharan Africa (CoM SSA) First Signatories will be invited to meet at the EU-Africa Local and Regional Governments Forum in Abidjan on 27^th November, 2017 for an official ceremony.

This first official ceremony will be a chance for the participating local authorities to meet and exchange as well as to get visibility of their actions. The event precedes the fifth EU-Africa Summit (28-29 November 2017) which will redefine EU-AU Partnership’s strategic orientations for the coming years. On the eve of this event, European and African local leaders will gather in the first ever Africa – Europe Local Government Forum in Abidjan on 27 November 2017 to share their messages and put the local dimension on the agenda of EU-Africa Summit.
