City Infographic | Garoua – Baseline Poster

Local governments in Sub-Saharan Africa are key actors in mitigating and adapting to climate change. Therefore, Garoua (Cameroon) has developed a Sustainable Energy Access and Climate Action Plan (SEACAP) to define the strategies, plans and actions that the City Council and the three subdivisional councils (Garoua I, II and III) are taking together towards sustainable development and lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Plan also includes measures to ensure access to secure, affordable and sustainable energy in response to the current and future impact of climate change in the region.
