City Infographic | Bobo-Dioulasso – SEACAP Mitigation Pillar

Without climate action, Bobo-Dioulasso’s GHG will likely triple in the next decade. By 2030, the city aims to reduce its overall projected emissions by 10%, but such reduction is only possible if action is taken by the highest emitters. Therefore, the mitigation pillar of Bobo’s SEACAP focuses on the transformation of three key sectors: energy, waste and transport. The benefits of the series of tangible actions the city is planning will extend further beyond, such as better road safety, fewer health risks, and new jobs in the waste sector.
