Guide | Gender Analysis for Project Development

Conducting a gender analysis in the identification phase of a project is the first step for designing gender-responsive projects. This is a significant objective for CoM SSA as tackling climate change and improving access to energy needs to be an inclusive process leading to inclusive outcomes and the reduction of gender inequalities. This guide is a resource for local governments in sub-Saharan Africa to ensure that the climate and energy projects developed at the local level do not only acknowledge the relevance of gender but are gender-inclusive and responsive too, including the perspective at all stages of the cycle and adopting relevant tools to this end.
