City Infographic | Bobo-Dioulasso – Private Sector & Financiers

Businesses in Bobo-Dioulasso are already feeling the impacts of climate change and limited access to energy, from profit loses due to decreasing crop yields and droughts to challenges accessing markets during floods. However, there are many opportunities to invest in climate and energy for business and financiers, in order to reduce the city’s vulnerability to risks while increasing profits. For instance, the SEACAP shows Bobo-Dioulasso’s potential, prioritizing many infrastructure projects that include new business opportunities coming from the construction of one solar power plant, nine new waste collection centres, or the thermal renovation of twenty communal buildings.
