Report: The response of local African governments to the Covid-19 pandemic (in French).

While a large part of the world’s population has been in lockdown for a few weeks, many emergency measures have highlighted the fundamental role of local governments in the fight against #COVID19.
Within the framework of the Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa, this report, produced by GIZ, presents a number of measures taken by African cities to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is of particular relevance to French-speaking local stakeholders in the region. It aims to share initiatives and good practices with African and international actors interested in the issue of management of Coronavirus response at the local governments’ level.
